Norma Brantley Rogers
Norma was born on January 28, 1925 and died on June 7, 2011 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bud" L. Rogers and survived by her sister, Elizabeth Brantley Biggs of Orlando, FL and her brother, Joseph "Jack" W. Brantley of Savannah, GA. She was also survived by her three children: Norma Jean Kelly of Savannah, GA; William "Bubba" L. Rogers Jr. of Savannah, GA; and Carol E. Williams of Keller, TX. Norma had five grandchildren: Tia T. Adkins, Victoria "Vicky" Stevens, William "Billy" A. Rogers, Christopher "Chris" Rogers of the US Navy, and Carlton R. Williams of Keller, TX. She also had eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a long standing member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was an avid bowler and baseball fan. She spent much of her spare time volunteering at Candler Hospital.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Dr. Morgan Kerr officiating.
Remembrances: Immanuel Baptist Church, 7375 Hodgson Memorial Dr., Savannah, GA 31406.

I know how hard it is to loose your Mother but look at it that none of us are here on earth forever. I didn't realize that your Mother was a Rogers. Joanne's Mother was a Rogers, most of them from Dublin and Metter area, y'll might be cousins.
